News from Ubergizmo:

LG is probably more well-known for their lineup of Android smartphones, and despite Microsoft having listed LG as one of their manufacturing partners for Windows Phone devices, we haven’t really seen much from the South Korean company yet. According to the publication, LG is expected to resume their cooperation with low-cost ODMs like Arima Communications. The company specializes in low-cost entry-level 3G devices, and LG is expected to place an order from them for about 2 million such phones.

The initial batch does not appear to be Windows Phone related, but DigiTime…………… continues on Ubergizmo

LG Reportedly Sees No Issues in Nexus 4 Supply Shortages
News from Droid Life:

After Google’s UK director called supply of its Nexus 4 “scarce and erratic” from LG, rumors have begun to suggest that LG may have cut orders to focus on future devices of their own. While those rumors are unconfirmed, what we do have now is an LG exec mentioning to a Korean publication that production is proceeding as planned and a denial that there are any supply issues.

Clearly, this exec hasn’t taken a spin through the Google Play store or any other retail outlet that sells the device across the globe. The Nexus 4 has been unavailable from Google for a month now, with no sign of a return. We aren’t sure what the status is at T-Mobile stores, but can’t imag…………… continues on Droid Life
