Looks Like LG Will Build Google’s 2015 Nexus After All!
News from Know Your Mobile:

Remember how good the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 where? Yeah us too. That’s why although it’s unexpected, it’s also not entirely surprising to hear the news that LG may be getting lined up to help Google build a third iteration of its own-brand of purebred Android devices. Motorola, HTC, and Samsung aren’t getting a look in this time, as according to whisperings from the interwebs, Google is teaming up with Huawei for one device and LG for the other – though it’s not yet clear what kind of devices these are. Logic says a phone and a tablet, but a regular sized phone and a phablet is also a possibility, and the question remains; who will make which device?

In its Q1 2015 earnings call, Google discussed the relative ups and downs of its smallest money resource, Google Play and the Google Store. Google CFO Patrick Pichette confirmed revenue from “other revenues” –– Google Play and the Google Store –– was up 23% year over year to $ 1.8 billion, revenue was down 3% compared to the fourth quarter of 2014.

“Pichette went on to note that the year over year increase was driven by growth of the Pla…………… continues on Know Your Mobile

LG G4 release date, price & specs rumours
News from UX 4.0 features demoed in video – Expert Reviews:

Released last year, the LG G3 was a surprisingly good phone, with the highest resolution screen that we’d ever seen. The question is, what can LG do to make the G4 even more desirable? The competition is certainly going to be tough with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 both of which launched at MWC in Barcelona, but we’ve dug through all the rumours to find out what LG has in store for us and when we can expect the LG G4.

In some ways, we’re surprised not to have seen the phone yet, with the other flagship Android phones for 2015 already declared. However, LG likes to do things at its own pace and often doesn’t stick to yearly release cycles, making it harder to predict what will happen. That said, it looks as though the LG G4 isn’t too far away, which means we can build up a fairly detailed pic…………… continues on UX 4.0 features demoed in video – Expert Reviews

With the Samsung Galaxy S5 out of the way and the All New HTC One just around the corner the internet’s collective eyes and ears have turned their attention to the LG G3.

Reported Screenshots From the LG G3 Leaked, Confirms QHD Display
News from Droid Life:

Even if Samsung apparently gave consumers the shaft with no QHD display on the Galaxy S5, and the company’s CEO denies any type of premium line of the device that features one, LG is wasting no time in making one of its own.

In new reported screenshots leaked from the possibly upcoming LG G3, a QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 is all but confirmed.

Besides the size of the shots, not much else can be seen. It appears obvious that the device will come running Android 4.4+ Kit Kat, and of course, come running LG’s custom skin atop it.

LG G2 review: LG’s best smartphone to date – Know Your Mobile
News from LG G2 review: LG’s best smartphone to date – Know Your Mobile:

It must be a pretty odd undertaking being a handset manufacturer making your own flagship at the same time as creating Google’s Nexus-branded flagship, but that’s exactly what LG has done with the LG G2 and Google’s Nexus 5.

While the Nexus name is widely recognised and well-regarded, LG is undergoing a re-branding excercise, dropping the Optimus moniker and simply running with LG G2. It is, arguably, the best smartphone LG has produced to date, so it would be a shame for it to be overshadowed by Google’s stock Android offering.

The LG G2 combines incredible power with a unique design and a wonderful sc…………… continues on LG G2 review: LG’s best smartphone to date – Know Your Mobile
