LG L Bello runs on a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

LG has launched its L Bello smartphone in India at a price of Rs. 18,500. LG touts its L Bello as ‘an affordable yet powerful’ alternative to the flagship LG G3 and inherits most of the G3’s design.

The L Bello features LG’s signature ‘rear key’ design with a floating arc curved back and gradually tapered edges. It sports a 5-inch true IPS 480 x 854 pixels display with 196 ppi pixel density. LG Optimus L9 review: an affordable mid-level Android handset for T-Mobile – Engadget
News from LG Optimus L9 review: an affordable mid-level Android handset for T-Mobile – Engadget:

DNP LG Optimus L9 review An entrylevel steal

Just when we thought LG was done with its Optimus L-series for the year, the Korean company surprised us with the LG Optimus L9, which replaces the Optimus L7 at the low-end range. The L-series devices are positioned as LG’s stylish yet affordable line of entry- to mid-level phones, so they definitely don’t compare to the company’s quad-core offerings like the 4X HD or the

News from CNET:

Outside its upcoming lineup of high-end phones such as the Nexus 4 and the Optimus G, LG has had a long history of creating decent and reliable, if somewhat unremarkable, midrange handsets.

The LG Venice is no exception. It’s a variant of the unlocked LG Optimus L7 and the LG Splendor on U.S. Cellular, but it delivers the same specs (such as the 4.3-inch screen, the 1GHz CPU, and the 5-megapixel camera) on the prepaid Boost Mobile network.

At $ 219.99, the device is the priciest 3G phone in Boost’s lineup. But you do get a lot of bang for your buck due to its svelte design, swift and smooth processor, and bright display. In addition, for a limited time, users who purchase the Venice will also receive…………… continues on CNET

LG Optimus Sol ‘affordable 1 GHz Android’ finally unveiled

LG Optimus Sol ‘affordable 1 GHz Android’ finally unveiled
News from TechRadar UK:

LG has finally taken the wraps off its poorly-hidden Optimus Sol, complete with Android 2.3.

If the news of the Korean giant actually managing to bring a handset to market with the latest version of Android isn’t enough to get you busting out the early morning bubbly (we know you all have it) then get this: it’s got an OLED screen too.

That’s right – LG has finally brought a phone out using the next-gen screen technology, despite proclaiming less than a month ago that “OLED displays are not suitable in terms of picture quality, response time, energy consumption and contrast ratios”.

Anyway – onto the good stuff: the LG Optimus Sol is being touted as one of the cheapest phones with 1GHz processor around, so it will be interesting to see how much it will cost when its gets its September UK release date.

ET Review: LG Optimus 3D P920 with eye-popping visuals
News from Economic Times:
NEW DELHI: For some people, 3D is just a gimmick that is worth little more than the odd look. It definitely has no place on a mobile phone. LG, however, thinks differently. The new Optimus 3D is not really the first 3D phone – the Spice M-67 offered 3D without glasses almost a year ago -but it certainly is the most muscular handheld device we have seen offering 3D. It is bulky (11.9mm thick) and at a hefty 168 grams, is not the lightest phone in town. Although built mainly of plastic, it feels solid to hold.

The front is dominated by the large 4.3 inch display with four touch keys for menu, home, back and search. On the left side are HDMI and micro USB ports and on the right is the volume rocker and a key which many might assume is a camera key, but is actually the key that lets in the 3D magic. A 3.5 mm audio jack and the screen/power on-off button are on the top of the phone. On the back is the dual 5.0-megapixel camera module with a single LED flash.

Hit that 3D button and y…………… continues on Economic Times

LG Optimus moves in as the affordable big-screen Android phone

LG Optimus moves in as the affordable big-screen Android phone
News from Real Time News, India:

LG Optimus 2X is fast emerging as the most affordable dual-core, large-display multimedia phone.

Meanwhile, the Optimus 2X, the country’s first dual core phone, seems to be settling in to the spot just below the technically most advanced phones in the market today — the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Sensation.

While the above two are beefier than the LG Optimus 2X in terms of specifications, the LG Android phone has become much cheaper than the others by dropping to the Rs 25,000 price-bracket. The other two phones — with which the Optimus shares most of its specifications, are still in the Rs 30,500-32,000 bracket.

The primary difference between Optimus and the others seems to be that the LG handset is slightly behind the other two in specifications. For example, instead of the 4.3 inch screens on the others, Optimus 2X has 4 inches, instead of 1.2 GHz dual-core, the 2X has a 1 GHz dual-core processor. Instead of 760 MB RAM (system memory), the Optimus has 51…………… continues on Real Time News, India
