iPhone 6 vs LG G3 comparison: LG’s impressive specs challenge Apple’s flagship
News from ChristianToday:

iPhone 6

Today, the iPhone 6 will go head-to-head with LG G3. These are undeniably two of the hottest handsets to date, so readers stuck with the same picks may turn to this comparison to come to a decision.

wikimediacommons

The Apple iPhone 6, like all other Apple devices, is genuinely classy. With its high-end aluminum casing, LG G3′s faux metal plastic is clearly no match. Nevertheless, LG G3 also looks quite handsome.

The Apple’s flagship is the company’s kickstarter in their full-sized handset line-up. Its screen display measures 4.7 inches diagonally. Nevertheless, the LG G3 trounces this with its 5.5-inch display. This, however, makes the Apple iPhone 6 slimmer and lighter, gauging 6.9 mm and 129 grams, respectively. The LG G3 looks bulky beside the iPhone 6 with its 8.9-mm thickness and 149-gram weight.

The larger of the rivals delivers 1440 x 2560 pixels generating 538 ppi pixel density. Apple brings 750 x 1334 pixels at 326 ppi. The resolution offerings are very much attuned to the phone’s display size, which means sharp and crisp details are expected of the two. Even so, LG G3 has bit of the upperhand in this department.

Android Lollipop Coming to Motorola, HTC, LG, Samsung, and Nexus Phones …
News from Christian Post:

Google’s latest mobile operating system, the Android Lollipop is soon to be released to the public but which phones will be getting the updates when it comes out? Much like Android KitKat, it generally depends on what make your phone is and to which carrier you are subscribed but it would seem that most phone manufacturers are already planning to update users to Lollipop when it comes out.

Google’s Nexus line will probably be the first smartphones to get the Lollipop update, whereas the Nexus 6 smartphone and the Nexus 9 tablet already have Android Lollipop out of the box. The Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 are slated to get the update and while there haven’t been any announcements, early November is looking to be a probable date.

HTC on the other hand is planning to get the One M8 and One M7 to Android Lollipop and Jeff Gordon, the company’s global online communications manager, has announced that both phones will be getting the upgrade within 90 days of the software’s release.

Motorola is planning to get Android Lollipop to a large number of their devices, namely the first and second generation Moto X, the Moto G, the Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, and Droid Mini.

LG G3 vs HTC Desire 816 comparison: Which phone is worth the price?
News from ChristianToday:

HTC

HTC Desire 816

HTC Desire 816 was released in May of this year. A comparable smartphone to match it with is none other than the LG G3, which was introduced in July and will hit stores before the year ends. To help users choose between the two phones, it is only proper to have a matchup between HTC’s phone a.k.a the “photo lover’s dream” and LG’s “simple yet smart” phone before they shell out some cash.

LG

LG G3

HTC Desire 816 comes with a glossy polycarbonate plastic exterior and, at the same time, is surrounded with matte-effect.  This, as Trusted Reviews remarked, gives it a nice solid look. The make of the LG G3, even though plastic, gives a premium look with its metallic effect.

The difference in their dimensions is something interesting to note as well. Between the two, HTC Desire 816 is thinner (0.31 inch) but heavier (165 grams). LG G3 weighs 134 grams in its 0.41-inch thickness.

Both phones provide users with a wide variety of color choices. HTC Desire 816 has black, white, red/orange, green, and gray versions while LG G3…………… continues on ChristianToday

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 camera shootout versus iPhone 6 Plus, LG G3 – CNET
News from Samsung Galaxy Note 4 camera shootout versus iPhone 6 Plus, LG G3 – CNET:

The battle of the phablet phones begins with a test of their built-in cameras that come equipped with optical image stabilization. Which phone takes the best shot?

note4g36plus.jpg Aloysius Low/CNET

Samsung’s latest Galaxy Note 4 sports a new design, but it sticks with a well-tested formula that has defined the phablet range of smartphones since its debut three years ago. Packing a Quad HD Super AMOLED display — that’s a super-sharp resolution of 2,560×1,440 pixels — and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, the Note 4 is the most advanced smartphone from Samsung yet.

Like the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Note 4 shares some of the same features — and more importantly for this article, a 16-megapixel rear-shooter that comes with optical…………… continues on Samsung Galaxy Note 4 camera shootout versus iPhone 6 Plus, LG G3 – CNET

Phone Comparison: Nexus 6 vs LG G3
News from Android Headlines – Android News:

As Steve Harvey would say on Family Feud, “We got a good one for ya today.”  This comparison squares up the new Nexus 6 against the very popular LG G3 – the first worldwide device with the QHD display.  Both devices are easy on the eyes and feel great in your hands – the metal frame of the Nexus 6 wraps around the glass display on one side and the flat plastic back on the other, while the LG G3 is rounded and smoothed all about with a curved metallic-like back that fits great in your hand.

Both devices have a Quad HD (QHD) display, which means a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels with 493 pixels-per-inch (PPI) on the larger 6-inch display on the Nexus 6 and 538 PPI on the 5.5-inch LG G3 display.  It should be noted that the Nexus 6 display uses an AMOLED technology and the LG G3 display uses the IPS+ LCD technology…this means that the Nexus display is bright and full of colors and contrasts, while the LG G3 has a rather ‘dull’ look to it – some folks like one better than the other.

They each use a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, but the Nexus 6 uses the newest 805 model and the LG G3 uses the 801 series right before the 805 – more on that later.  Both devices offer 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage – the Nexus 6 also offers a 64GB option with no room for expansion, while the LG G3 offers a microSD card for adding up to an additional 128GB of…………… continues on Android Headlines – Android News

iPhone 6 Plus vs. LG G3: The Best of of Both Worlds

iPhone 6 Plus vs. LG G3: The Best of of Both Worlds
News from Paste Magazine:

When it comes to buzz, the iPhone 6 Plus is still all the rage. It’s still commanding headlines in the media, getting people’s attention in public, and the talk of the town for non-tech types. However, it’s certainly not the only smartphone worth considering.

In addition to many other great Android alternatives, LG’s flagship Android phone, the G3, goes toe-to-toe with the 6 Plus in pretty much every way. It was released earlier this year, but it’s still a beauty to behold. The problem isn’t that the iPhone 6 Plus is here, but just that the G3 is getting less attention than it should.

Both phones carry the same 5.5-inch size screen and are two of the most premium devices you can buy. But which is right for you? Let’s take a deeper look and see how they compare.

Display

Beyond both phones sporting a 5.5-inch screen, the displays are still quite different. One of the main differentiators of LG’s G3 is its Quad HD resolution. With four times the screen resolution of a 720p HD s…………… continues on Paste Magazine

Design and Display

Iphone 6 vs LG G3 – Battle of Flagships

Iphone 6 vs LG G3 – Battle of Flagships
News from I Know Today:

With so many new powerhouse smartphones coming out, it’s hard to make an educated decision. LG has been constantly pushing out some exceptional models, and more recently, Apple has also released its highly anticipated iPhone 6. The LG G3 is a specs beast, there is no doubt about that. When you look at it on paper, everything from its processor to  its display and camera screams of top notch quality specs. On the other hand, the iPhone 6 is not about the specs, but more about what it can do and how it does it.

We’re going to compare the two to give you a better idea of what might it you best and which of the two is ultimately the better choice and the bigger phone for the buck.

Design Comparison

Even for a plastic constructed phone, the LG G3 has an appealing design on its own. However, it’s still not as attractive when compared to the iPhone 6′s new redesign. The iPhone 6 is just more compact, thinner and on top of that, sturdier with its choice in materials. The LG G3 standout design characteristics include its power button and volume controls, which are now placed in the rear. You also have a ION blaster on the top edge which doubles as a universal remote, as well as a removable rear cover which grants us access to its internal battery and also has a microSD card slot.

Meanwhile, for the iPhone 6, we have non other than i…………… continues on I Know Today

LG G3 vs. Oppo Find 7 vs. HTC One M8, Which One Should You Buy?

LG G3 vs. Oppo Find 7 vs. HTC One M8, Which One Should You Buy?
News from Air Herald:

Many people want to know about the LG G3 vs. Oppo Find 7 vs. HTC One M8. All three are similar phones, particularly the LG G3 and the Oppo Find 7. The HTC One M8 is a similar phone as well but is slightly smaller than the other two phones.

When people think of phablets, they almost certainly think of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge. But, what they don’t realize is that the LG G3 and Oppo Find 7 are two phones that are very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The HTC One M8 is more of a competitor to the iPhone 6 and Samsung Galaxy S5.

The reason we’re saying this is that the LG G3 and Oppo Find 7 both have a 5.5 inch display and the same size screen resolution at 1440p. The screen resolution is the same on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but the phone is slightly larger at 5.7 inches. The HTC One M8 has a 5 inch screen and a 1080p display. The LG G3 is cheaper than the Oppo Find 7, but that’s mostly because it’s slightly more readily available. It can be hard to find the Oppo Find 7 depending on where you are.

Top 5 Android smartphones
News from Load The Game:

Let’s pretend for a second, that price won’t matter and we can have all the cash in the world or pretend that companies will willingly give you one week testing periods before charging your credit card. I’m pretending that Samsung, LG, Google and Motorola will gladly give me some high-end Android phones so that I can play with them for a week and give them back if I’m dissatisfied. That’s probably never going to happen, but I would still like to introduce you to my top 5 Android phones list. The smartphones on this list are pure evil, in my opinion, and many of them made me into the tech-freak I am today.

Jokes aside, there are many Android phones to choose from out there, starting from entry level phones for with sub $ 100 price tags like those in the Android One line from Karbonn, Spice an Micromax. Then there are mid-range phones with price tags between $ 200 and $ 400, like the HTC Desire 820, Galaxy Alpha line from Samsung, Sony Xperia E3, Moto G, Lumia 830 and Galaxy Grand Prime. Then there are the high-end flagships which will cost your anywhere between $ 500 and $ 1000. In this category, Android phones like the Galaxy S5, Galaxy Note 4, HTC One M8, LG G3, Motorola Moto X, Lumia 1020 or the Oppo Find 7. Had enough? There’s another category, though, the underdog flagship category. You can find phones like the Meizu MX4, Huawei Ascend Mate 7, OnePlus One, Xiaom…………… continues on Load The Game

Top Android phones: Galaxy S5 vs HTC One M8 vs LG G3 vs Nexus 5
News from Stabley Times:

Android phones bring numerous choices. The Galaxy S5 the most widely known and best-marketed, but how does it measure up to the less visible competition? The HTC One M8 emerges at a time when many expected HTC to fade from the Android landscape. The LG G3 arrives even as LG’s involvement with the Nexus phone comes into question. And the Nexus 5, highly lauded by the relative few who know of it, is still hanging around. Here’s a look at the top Android phones in the market as of right now and the circumstances under which they’re the most and least recommendable.

Galaxy S5: this device gets the bulk of the attention, and sales, within the Android phone market. It has the five-ish inch screen that buyers tend to love. It also comes with a ton of Samsung-specific apps piled on top of the base Android system software. But Samsung just keep delivering flagship phones that are made of cheap plastic, marring their durability and cheapening the experience.

The main reason to consider the Galaxy S5: if you own other Samsung smart devices around the house and want the interoperability. But let’s take a look at what else is out there.

HTC One M8: this device is everything the Galaxy S5 should be. It’s made of strong materials, it’s durable, and it offers fashionable styling. The catch: HTC has been in financial trouble for some time, and the…………… continues on Stabley Times
